About Me
My name is Lana, I live in Hackney with my family.
As well as teaching Hatha yoga, I also work as a part-time senior administrator in a local hospital.
I first came across yoga 1997, during my university years. I had been struggling with managing tension and headaches . Running and other activities, really helped but I felt that I needed to also explore other, deeper solutions. I came upon a magazine article that gave me information on where to find local British Wheel of Yoga classes near me, and have not looked back since. Yoga has had such a huge, positive impact on my life. For instance; it has improved my fitness levels (flexibility, stamina and strength), increases my awareness of self and the world around me and it helps me to navigate all areas of my daily life with a calmer, kinder frame of mind.
I completed a 500-hour, British Wheel of Yoga Teacher Training Diploma Course in October 2022. I regularly keep building on my knowledge and experience by undertaking CPD (Continuing Professional Development).
Emergency First Aid training completed in October 2021 and will be renewed every 3 years.
